The Qlik Spark connector offers the option to access datasources using the Qlik Sense data analytics tool. This tutorial covers accessing the data by connecting to Conduit via Qlik Sense.
In Conduit click on the Endpoints option from the main menu and have it handy.
Inside your Qlik Sense portal select
Start with data → Connect to data
Note: Alternatively you can select Add new → Connect to data
In the
Add data connection popup search for spark and select it
Scroll down to
Thrift Transport and select HTTP
Configure the connection details retrieved in step 1
In the authentication section select
User Name and Password and enter your username and access token you obtain from the Conduit Mgmt Console under your username → access token
Note: Standard Conduit users (non-AD) will use their password instead of the access token.
Enable SSL and insert the PEM certificate of the server to which you are connecting (obtain this certificate from your Conduit administrator)
Finish the configuration by clicking on
