Uninstall Process - Removing LHO from your Azure Subscription
Uninstall guide:
This document provides step-by-step instructions for uninstalling Lakehouse Optimizer from your environment. Properly uninstalling the software ensures that all components are removed from your system. Before uninstalling LHO, ensure that you have administrative privileges.
Phase 1: Unpublish all published workspaces
Access your LHO and go to the settings page.
Unpublish all published workspaces by using the toggle next to the workspace name.
This will remove the collector from Databricks and leave no trace of itself.
Phase 2: Remove the resource group from the Azure Portal
Access the Azure Portal and go to Resource groups.
Find the resource group where all of the infrastructure (VM, DB, KeyVault, etc) reside. Click on Delete resource group and follow the instructions to delete the resource group.
If prompted choose to force deletion of the VM.
Phase 3: Remove the Azure Service Principal
Access the Azure Portal and go to Microsoft Entra ID → App Registrations.
Find the app registration that was used by LHO and remove it by clicking on Delete and follow the instructions.
