Mandatory configuration

After installing Conduit, for a complete experience the admin should do the following procedures.

• configure email notifications

  • see Configure SMTP settings

• configure Kibana logs

  • see Conduit logs

• configure Grafana dashboards

  • see Conduit metrics configuration

• whitelist Conduit ports if running behind a firewall

  • see Conduit Services

Recommended configuration

The following configuration is not mandatory, but it is recommended.

• configure Conduit backup policy

  • Configure your backup policy

• configure Conduit parquet store location

  • Configure parquet store file system
