The Tableau Spark connector offers the option to access datasources using the Tableau data virtualization tool. Follow the steps below to connect to Conduit and access data in Tableau.

 

  1. In Conduit open Data Endpoints page and have it handy.

  2. Open Tableau app. If needed, install it first from tableau.com

  3. In Tableau click to connect to Spark SQL. You will be prompted to install the driver if you don’t have yet driver needed for Spark SQL installed.

  4. Fill out Spark SQL connection with Tableau Spark Connector details in Conduit.

  5. Click Sign In.
